New Center Point Interchange

The North Carolina Department of Transportation has approved and will construct
a new Center Point Interchange for the Union Cross exit on I-40.

This project is in the design stage with construction to begin in 2007 and to be completed by 2009. Union Cross Road will be upgraded to a 4 / 6 lane divided highway. The first controlled stop light headed north on Union Cross Road, will be the entrance to the Union Cross Towne Centre project.

This new interchange coupled with the proximity to the new Dell manufacturing facility, will establish this location as the premier commercial / retail intersection on I-40, in the center of the Triad.
